For many Learners enrolled on Foundation degrees, the experience of Higher Education and its requirements can be daunting.

HE Progress now is an e-portfolio that guides and support Learners through the process of creating assignments and provides them with the opportunity to receive regular and structured feedback on their work. HE Progress now enables the Learner to easily capture and attach evidence of their learning, which they create in the workplace.

launched in June 2009

HE Progress now is more than just a ‘depository’ for work that a student has produced.

A comprehensive administrative tool underpins the platform, so we are able to support the creation of multiple relationships between a Learner’s work and a particular assessment task. It is also possible to control who is allowed to interact with that work and what they are able to do. All assessment feedback, including first and second marks, is automatically dated and recorded and made available for review. As a result, the full range of reports required for Examination Boards can be instantly created.

HE Progress now was created through a partnership between West Yorkshire Lifelong Learning Network and Park Lane College who are now part of the new Leeds City College. We are grateful for their support.
